What is the difference between new versus reconditioned?
Are the difference worth the cost?
What service life should spect from them?
Hello Marcos,
The major difference between new and reconditioned is the price that one has to pay. We aim to offer our customers, reconditioned injectors at half price of the new injector. This is not always possible, which means some time our prices are 60% of the new injector.
Now, the customer decides if the cost is worth to be considered or not.
Warranty is one year for reconditioned injector, as new injector warranty is between one year to 2 years. This all depends from where you buy the new injectors, if Bosch offers for new injectors in certain countries 2 year warranty, then this is offered to the end customer.
As for service life of reconditiond injectors, 95% of our repaired injectors are not coming back. Considering this, new injectors can break down as well, and you may not be entitled to warranty for them, this depends on how Bosch sees the matter.
