We have 2 mtu (bosch) fuel injection pumps bought in 2019. The one pump has mtu part no 0280745202 and Bosch pump with part 0414943013 printed on the Fuel injection pump name plate (as per above detail. It was bought for an overall on the mtu 16V 1163 03 engine

We also received a Fuel injection pump with mtu part no 0280744102 and Bosch Part number 0414943012 printed on the actual fuel injection pump name plate also bought for an overall on the mtu 16V 1163 03.

Searching the internet, AI and NMCRL it give you information on mtu part no 0280745202 with its Bosch part no 0414943013 and further says the mtu part no 0280744102 (with Bosch part no 0414943012) was superceded by mtu part no 0280745202 (and Bosch Part no 0414943012).

This tells me that their is a relationship between these two pumps and if a supersession did take place then the pumps are compatible and form, fit and Function the same. I am of the view that part no 0280745202 is a modification and then the newer version. Speaking to different technical experts on these pumps you also learn that mtu part no 0280744102 may be an older version and maybe obsolete. I have search wide and the 0280744102 (Bosch no 0414943012 does no reflect on NMCRL. is this normal as the Design Control Authority nay have decided not to list the older number if it will be discontinued (my opinion) but where can I find the history of these two pumps.

It would be appreciated if you can shed some light on my enquiry as I need proof that these two pumps are the same and/one older than the other and that one may be discontinued. I have now said a lot but I wanted to make it as clear as I possibly can. My apology. Can you assist with such confirmation or even say the two pumps are complete different pumps. My request can you clarify this for me. Thank you for your assistance.
